We are seeking a passionate and customer-focused Tasting Room Ambassador to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to share our love for wine and provide memorable experiences to our guests.

Responsibilities:

Welcome and greet guests warmly, ensuring a friendly and professional first impression.
Deliver exceptional customer service by engaging with guests and sharing detailed knowledge about our wines, history, and offerings.
Conduct wine tastings, guiding guests through the tasting process while answering questions and making recommendations.
Handle point-of-sale transactions, including accurate cash-ups and daily reconciliations.
Maintain cleanliness, organization, and presentation of tasting areas and restaurant spaces.
Assist with inventory management, including stock counts and monitoring stock levels.
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak times and events.
Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and health and safety regulations.

Requirements:

2 years in the wine or hospitality industry, with a strong understanding of wine and food pairings.
Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills to engage with guests and provide a welcoming atmosphere.
Experience with hospitality POS systems and comfort handling transactions.
Willingness to work weekends, public holidays, and occasional evening events.
Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and maintain strong attention to detail.
Must reside in or near the Stellenbosch area.
