We are looking for a self-motivated, hard-working, and trustworthy individual to work in our restaurant, cosecha. Our restaurant is recognized by Eat Out as one of the top 10 restaurants in Paarl and one of the top 500 restaurants in South Africa. Our restaurant's menu is latin-inspired, and unique from other offerings in the area.

Job responsibilities include:
Preparing dishes based on unique Latin recipes with fresh, flavourful ingredients
Managing junior kitchen staff and service team
Smoothly complete busy weekend services
Working at the grill and preparing sauces

The successful candidate must:
Have a professional cooking background
Be willing and able to work every weekend
Be fluent in written and spoken English and Afrikaans
Maintain an extremely high level of cleanliness
Have transport to/from work
Have a bright, positive attitude and neat, professional appearance
Be completely trustworthy
Have stellar professional and personal references

Schedule and wage:
The schedule for this position is from 08h00 to 17h30, five days per week. You will have two days off during each week (Tuesdays and Thursdays). You will work every weekend. The position starts at R 8400 per month and the wage will be revised after 12 months. The position is eligible for overtime.
