Our client, well established in the hospitality industry in Cape Town, is looking for a Marketing Manager.

To ensure success, you will need extensive knowledge of marketing strategies both local and international for a luxury hospitality brand
Your success will translate into increased brand awareness and profitability.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Marketing or equivalent

Minimum 5 – 7 Years’ experience in the Hospitality Industry within a Marketing role

Strong ties within the International Tourism Industry

Experience working with luxury brands

Sound digital marketing experience and knowledge

Experience with Graphic Design and Copywriting

An understanding of SEO

Valid code 08 license and own transport

Key responsibilities (but not limited to):

Marketing Manager will set and guide the strategy for all communications, websites, public relations, social media, and collateral. This individual serves as the communications partner on a variety of strategic initiatives.

Webpage maintenance, ensure that new and consistent information is posted regularly, all information is updated and images are refreshed

Manage digital strategy, messaging, track and measure the level of engagement within the network over time

Monitor and manage the company’s review channels, such as Tripadvisor, Dineplan, Facebook and google reviews.

Hosting events and VIPs at the venue.

Negotiate media spaces and brand partnership proposals.

Create creative content for newsletters, ads, posts, website, brochures, etc.

Develop promotions and partnerships to meet the marketing and revenue objectives for Hospitality business.

Work with external suppliers including agencies.

Have knowledge of CRM systems.

Stay abreast of marketing trends and provide insights and reporting to the CEO and other stakeholders.
