Procurement Clerk (6 Month Contract)

Our client is looking for a candidate to fill a Procurement Clerk (6Month Contract) vacancy in Paarl. The successful candidate will report to the Procurement & Logistics Manager and work closely with the Procurement Co-ordinator.

The Procurement Department requires that all purchases are made according to prescribed procedures and involves 
Procurement and Logistical activities.

Computer literate with decent knowledge of Excel and Word as well as Sage financial system
Experience in Procurement and freight logistics
Good verbal and written communication skills

Main responsibilities:
Quotations and supplier sourcing
Procurement of goods and services 
General administration duties including insurance, medicals, filing
Stock management
Logistics arrangements via Couriers
Tracking of open orders and process invoices for payment

Salary: R8 000 - R10 000 depending on experience.
