Koelenhof Wine Cellar, situated in the Stellenbosch wine region, currently has the abovementioned career opportunity available for a person with proven experience in the wine industry, and in bottling and production management. 

The successful candidate will report directly to the Distribution Centre Manager and will be fully responsible for the management of our BRC-accredited bottling plant. 

Further prerequisites:

  • Senior Certificate (matric)
  • At least five (5) years’ relevant experience of the bottling processes in the wine industry
  • Technical knowledge of maintaining bottling equipment
  • Knowledge of operating a filler and labelling machine will count in your favour
  • Experience of the BRC food safety system will count in your favour
  • Good computer skills (MS Outlook & MS Excel)
  • Good communicating skills (Afrikaans & English)
  • Ability to operate under pressure
  • Ability to function in a team
  • Willingness to work overtime
  • A valid driver's license and own transport


The duties include (but not limited to): - production planning - effective management of production processes - quality control of production processes and final products - purchase of consumables – 1st line technical maintenance of machines and equipment - stock management - implementing and maintaining quality- and safety standards (BRC) - loss control - any other tasks related to the position.
