Imbuko Wines, a successful supplier of bulk- and bottle wines for both National and International markets, is situated in Wellington. We have grown in leaps and bounds and therefore require a highly competent and passionate individual in our Operations team. This position requires a person with logistics experience in the wine industry and one who will be adaptable and excited by change and challenges.

The main purpose of the position is to coordinate and administer the bottling functions and to assist with operational, production and stock administration. It is further to ensure timeous and accurate delivery of orders received and general assistance to the Operations Manager.

Main functions:

Bottling and Production:  

  • All functions relating to ordering and deliveries of dry goods
  • Manage delivery register on a daily basis
  • All relevant correspondence and liaison with clients and suppliers
  • Purchase orders and stock management on EZY
  • Pack run functions and production reports for clients
  •  Reconciliation of stock and losses
  • Physical receiving and stock management of dry goods
  • Assist and support production planning and scheduling
  • Submission of MAR report on EZY 


Education & Training:

  • Grade 12 with mathematics
  • Highly competent in the Ezy computer package as well as Excel
  • Qualification in Logistics will be an advantage, but not a requirement


  • At least 2 to 3 years’ working experience in the wine industry in a logistics role or environment with specific exposure to dry goods
  • Good knowledge of the wine industry systems: DAFF (Wine On Line and SAWIS)
