Inherent Requirements:

  • Professional Cookery qualification
  • A formal qualification in Food Safety, HACCP or equivalent is advantageous

Experience and skills:

  • Minimum of 3 years in the same or similar role
  • Fine dining experience in a top 20 restaurant in the last 3 years
  • Food and wine pairing service
  • Knowledge and experience of Italian cuisine is advantageous

Main Responsibilities:

  • Highly competent in producing a wide range of international and ethnic foods and ability to respond to special dietary requirements
  • Ability to correctly use specialist cooking equipment
  • Knowledgeable and competent in using different methods of cooking and wide range of ingredients
  • Ability to follow health, safety and security practices relating to food preparation
  • Able to follow formal policies, processes, standards and recipes
  • Ability to work under pressure and deliver the highest quality food and dishes to meet the expectations and needs of guests
