Pierneef à La Motte Restaurant in the Franschhoek Valley requires a Chef de Partie who is passionate about the culinary art of pastry and heritage cuisine.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following: * developing modern Cape Winelands pastries * preparing pastries and bread for guests * kitchen inventory and stock management * working closely with the Head Chef in creating delectable desserts.         

Applications are awaited from persons who comply with the following: * a degree or diploma in culinary arts * 2 years’ experience in a similar position * able to work in a fast-paced environment with challenging deadlines * own transport required * willingness to work on scheduled weekends and public holidays.
