a market leader in the fruit export industry, is seeking to employ a Finance & Logistics Coordinator.  The position is responsible to run the back office, be the link between the finance- and commercial departments and provide overall support to the commercial management team.

 

  1. Sales & financial duties:
  • Debtors – Management of invoicing, ‘Return to sender’ (RTS), distribution and allocation of funds received
  • Creditors – Management of cost capturing and allocations
  • Manage and monitor new cost items, new producer’s and price structuring setup on QX system
  • Work closely with financial department to communicate all new QX setup’s, invoice adjustments, RTS’s etc.
  • Administrate and finalise foreign account sales transactions
  • Responsible to provide financial, logistic and administrative assistance

 

  1. Logistic & export administration duties:
  • Manage, track and coordinate export/logistic documentation process
  • QX-system – administrative duties associated with the export process
  • Client liaison and ensure customer expectations and service principles are met and maintained
  • Provide up-to-date feedback on a daily basis and prepare weekly reports for management

 

  1. Commercial & Logistic support:
  • Maintain positive relationships with pack houses, cold stores, producers, global sales network
  • Liaising with clients (consignees, service providers, receivers)
  • Supporting the commercial department and producers in the best possible way by establishing professional relationship management with respective decision makers
  • Work closely with the Commercial Director and sales & logistic team to ensure customer service, grower support and achieving sales targets

 

Requirements:

  • Relevant Financial and/or Logistic Qualification
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience on systems in the fruit export industry i.e. Prophet QX system
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • Ability to work under pressure and deliver quality results
  • Exceptional attention to detail and highly organised
  • Advance Excel skills
