Our client, one of South Africa’s leading companies in the Agricultural sector, is looking for a highly analytical and financially-minded Administrative Coordinator within their Procurement division, with 1 – 2 years’ purchasing/procurement experience in a similar role at their offices based in Stellenbosch.

Duties & responsibilities include:

  • Contract management:
    • Drafting physical purchasing contracts
    • Collecting outstanding contracts
  • Stock management and control:
    • Ensuring that the stock on the company’s system matches the stock on the Cooperative’s systems
    • Requesting instruction, stock swings, transfers, etc.
  • Preparation and handling of invoices for payments to suppliers/producers for stock purchased
  • Transaction management:
    • Confirming daily that all purchase side transactions are entered into the system and that they match what was done on Safex

Minimum requirements:

  • At least 2 years’ experience in a Financial or Procurement support role
  • Relevant degree: B.Com Quantitative & Logistics Management, B.Com Management Science, etc.
  • Strong financial experience
  • Analytical
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Able to work in a team
  • High attention to detail
  • Able to work accurately and efficiently – Well versed in e-mail etiquette and MS Outlook with good writing skills
  • Fluent in Afrikaans and English (not negotiable)
  • Own vehicle preferred

CTC package on offer:

  • R 15 000 – R 17 000 CTC per month
  • 13th Cheque
  • Slightly flexible working hours
