Tasting Room Assistant Manager

We are looking for a Tasting Room Assistant Manager at Bloemendal Wine Estate. The successful candidate will be mainly responsible for:

  • Meet and greet guests on arrival and conduct wine tastings.
  • Day to day operations in the Tasting Room.
  • Manage the weekend Staff
  • Cash-up.
  • Stock take.
  • Manage Farm’s petty cash.
  • Conduct Staff trainings and wine education.
  • Conduct offsite pourings, tastings and events as and when required.
  • Admin and ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Farm Manager.


  • Fully Bilingual in Afrikaans and English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Computer literacy.
  • Previous Tasting Room experience is a must.
  • Owning a reliable transport
  • Ability and willingness to work weekends and the occasional Public Holidays.
