Our client who is based in Wellington is looking for an Executive Personal Assistant to perform a variety of administrative tasks and support the company’s CEO.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Act as the point of contact among executives, employees, clients and international stakeholders
  • Manage information flow in a timely and accurate manner
  • Manage CEO’s calendar and set up meetings
  • Make travel and accommodation arrangements for the CEO and for international stakeholders
  • Request payments and allocate different expenses as set out by the CEO
  • Oversee the performance of other clerical staff
  • Act as an office manager
  • Format information for internal and external communication – memos, emails, presentations, reports, newsletters
  • Take minutes during meetings
  • Screen and direct phone calls and emails and distribute correspondence
  • Organize and maintain the office filing system
  • Act as organization’s vehicle proxy

               

REQUIREMENTS

  • 3-5 years’ work experience as an Executive Personal Assistant
  • Excellent MS Office knowledge
  • Outstanding organizational and time management skills
  • Familiarity with office gadgets and applications (e.g. e-calendars and copy machines)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English 1st & Afrikaans 2nd )
  • Discretion and confidentiality
  • Ability to work independently and at times alone in the office
  • Be able to work well under pressure, and open to learn on the job
  • Driver’s license
  • High School degree
  • PA diploma or certification is a plus

Negotiable depending on experience
