Responsible for the total repair and maintenance on all company vehicles and machinery for the farming concern. Plan and oversee all aspects of the day to day running of an allocated workshop or workshop area. To work in line with health and safety regulations and policies and ensure that it is met.

Key Accountability Areas: 
- Maintenance and upkeep of mechanical equipment (Tractors, Implements, Vehicles, etc.).
- Ensure that all equipment is safe and ready to utilize for operation.
- Performing basic maintenance repairs.
- Actively participate in all health and safety risk assessments and ensure these are implemented.
- Willing to travel and carry out duties across all the company's farming concerns.
- Preparing of maintenance reports.
- Perform any other reasonable duties as requested by the Workshop Manager.

Qualification and Experience: 
- Qualified Mechanic
- Three (3) to five (5) years’ experience
- Excellent knowledge of tools and equipment needed for a specific task
- Operating knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety requirements for all maintenance activities
- Computer literate
- Team oriented and able to work independently

Competencies and Skills:
- Good attention to detail
- Problem solving skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Excellent time management, planning and preparation ability
- In possession of a valid Driver’s License
- Experience in electrical work would be advantageous
