Historic Wines of the Cape Warehouse in Montague Gardens requires a motivated, energetic person with a dynamic nature and a strong logistics background to join the team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following: *production scheduling in accordance with forecast * weekly stock-checking and feedback to Logistic Manager *production scheduling in accordance with export orders from Logistic Department * checking of dry goods for production * updating product specifications * production scheduling and communicating instructions to line operator * quality control * record-keeping of production-related activities * purchasing of dry goods * weekly monitoring of dry goods * stock transfers * liaison with customers and suppliers * assistance in preparing annual budget * collating reports for Management

Applications are awaited from persons who comply with the following: * matric certificate *relevant tertiary qualification would be advantageous * 3 years experience in a similar position * excellent organising skills * strong leadership skills * good command of Afrikaans and English * professional appearance and conduct * strong working discipline, with the ability to handle pressure * experience in the wine industry * ability to take ownership of work * excellent computer skills * advanced Excel skills
