Aan de Doorns Wine Cellar, situated in the Worcester wine region, has the above position available for a dynamic, well organised individual who can work accurately under pressure and has excellent communication skills in Afrikaans and English.

This position is ideal for someone that prefers variety in work tasks and is adept at multi-tasking.

The successful candidate will be responsible for (but not limited to) the following:

• Handling of invoices
• Following up on outstanding documents
• Link information with orders, receipts and going through prices and quotes
• Monthly reconciliations
• Setting up of and loading of bank payments
• Capturing of information on Pastel

• Handling credit applications
• Filing (creditors, excise, VAT, payments, cashbook, bank statements)
• Handling of petty cash & supporting documentation
• Sending of all harvest information to SAWIS
• Receiving of members, clients, and representatives
• Handling of switchboard
• Presenting wine tastings and sales
• Handling point of sale (Pastel)
• Rental of hall & reservations
• Acquiring quotations regarding transport costs and bottling (corks, labels, capsules, etc)
• Weighing of trucks

Essential qualifications, skills and experience:
• Matric;
• Approximately 3 years’ relevant experience in a similar position;
• Thorough administrative and numeracy skills;
• Excellent computer proficiency (MS Office & Pastel);
• Own reliable transport;
• An appropriate tertiary qualification will be to the candidate's advantage;
• Relevant experience in the wine industry will be to the candidate’s advantage.
