Van Loveren has an exciting opportunity and a half day position for an individual to join our Finance Team at our Office in Robertson.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS OF THE ROLE

Fixed Assets:

  • Create purchase orders, receipt of invoices and data input on the Accounting system.
  • Compiling of payment information for the accountant.
  • Monthly reconciliation of the fixed asset register. 

Stock Controls & Cost Management:

  • Cost allocations of products on the Accounting system.
  • Data input and management of stock transfers between warehouses.
  • Assist with weekly & monthly physical stock counts and reconciliations.
  • Monthly reconciliations of SAWIS and WineMS bulk liters. 

Commission calculations:

  • Documenting commission structure.
  • Compiling of monthly commission payments. 

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Financial qualification.
  • 3-4 years’ experience in a similar role.
  • Knowledge of Accounting systems (BC365 or Pastel), fixed asset accounting & stock management.
  • Computer literate in MS Office programs.

 PERSONALITY REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to deliver strict deadlines and work closely with the Finance team.
  • Analytical, highly organized & trustworthy.
  • Delivering accurate and complete work.
  • High level of attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently without supervision and in a team.
