Bottling Line and Stock Control Manager

Our client, a producer of wines, brandy and olive oil has an exciting opportunity for a hardworking and energetic individual to manage their bottling line and stock. This position is based just outside of Stellenbosch.

Main Duties:

 

  • Planning, quality control, alignment and supervision of bottling line
  • Planning and managing labelling and ordering of correct labels
  • Planning and preparation of inventory for overseas orders
  • Staff management and planning of staff requirements
  • Dry stock management and ordering of supplies
  • Stock control of packed products
  • Responsible for all certification with wine and spirits board and SAWIS administration
  • Bulk wine management
  • Oversee maintenance on equipment
  • Compilation of operational procedures for all bottling and labelling functions

 Requirements:

  • Grade 12
  • A relevant tertiary qualification (degree or diploma) will be advantageous
  • At least 5 years’ experience in a similar position
  • Understanding and interpreting of lab analysis and results
  • Valid forklift licence
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Leadership skills
  • Ability to work in a team
  • Computer literate
  • Passion for the wine industry
