A boutique winery in the Banghoek Valley is looking for a part-time Tasting Room Attendant to work Saturdays, public holidays and on an as-needed basis.

Job Description:

Providing hospitality of the highest standards to all winery visitors, telling the story and presenting the wines, creating ambassadors for the brand.

This includes but is not limited to:
 
 - Receiving and welcoming visitors to the cellar door
 - Presenting wine tastings to visitors in a knowledgeable way
 - Assist with the logistics in terms of: preparing and dispatching orders to clients, daily stock take, morning cash-ups, preparing and maintaining the tasting room in terms of tidiness and cleanliness, assisting with managing dry goods and glasses
 - Assisting with special tastings and private functions as required

Minimum requirements:
 
 - Matric 
 - Candidates must be available to work on Saturdays, public holidays as well as occasionally during the week as required and for private functions after-hours
 - Fluent in English, both written and verbal. Additional languages advantageous
 - Previous tasting room experience essential
 - Strong general wine knowledge required
 
Completion of any Cape Wine Academy / WSET / equivalent courses advantageous.
