Glen Carlou is looking for an engaging and people-loving individual with a positive and enthusiastic attitude to join their Hospitality team as Restaurant Manager.

As the Restaurant Manager, you are responsible for the day to day operations as well as and not limited to:

  • Ensure the Restaurant and its environs are well presented at the beginning of the day and throughout – setting of standards and exceeding those standards.
  • Ensure Glen Carlou provides and presents an exceptional experience for its visitors and guests and their expectations are exceeded
  • Ensure timely delivery of guest’s meals whilst working with the Head Chef
  • Maintenance and improvement of customer service at the Restaurant. Including the training of the staff.
  • Supervision of Restaurant staff and compiling of rosters
  • Work with the Functions & Events Manager regarding events and Glen Carlou corporate functions
  • Co-ordination of visits to the winery and the provision of an exceptional Glen Carlou experience with Management team
  • Work with the Management & Administration teams to achieve common goals
  • Ensure stock control and reporting procedures are in place and being adhered to
  • Reporting to Management and writing the monthly Restaurant report
  • Monitoring of sales and expenses budget with the Management team
  • OH & S and risk management within the Restaurant
