As a Sales & Logistics Administrator you will join our Africa division, and handle sales support, logistics & documents for our African sales team. This position is full time (5 days per week) and remotely based (work from home).

Responsibilities & Duties:

  • This is a sales support role. No actual selling or buying involved in this position, but rather providing support to the sales/purchasing team in the division.
  • Communicate with the sales team and freight forwarders as needed to ensure coordination of all shipping activities.
  • Prepare documentation for each shipment, including creating/revising documents as required.
  • Manage trucker communication, bills of lading and pick tickets.
    Manage relationships with freight forwarders and other carriers.
    Work with the division's team to ensure timely submission of paperwork relating to shipments including manifests, purchase orders, bills of lading, weigh tickets and invoices.
    Assure all shipping documents for all shipments are done correctly.
    Provide direction in all phases of logistics and prepare and maintain information and documentary records.
    Resolve obstacles that could potentially cause shipment delays.
    Prepare shipping documentation; confirm all documentation requirements prior to dispatch of shipments and verify accurate documentation.
    Work closely with customers and suppliers, to properly meet customer specific packaging, labeling, and notification requirements.
    Responsible for completing all daily shipments and verifying that all orders have been processed and picked up by transportation carriers.
    Verify product was delivered to the customers and effectively and timely communicate with Operations, Accounting, and Sales regarding status of orders.
    Assure all freight claims are filed on time, and paid out by carriers.
    Some bookkeeping tasks as necessary for invoices, credit notes, and purchase orders.
  • Tracking of shipments while in transit to our multiple customers across several countries around the world.


Must be an extremely detail-oriented person (very important).

*** MINIMUM 1 year experience required in logistics: air & ocean shipments - Fruit industry***

English language absolutely required.

Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure.

Acumatica software experience highly preferred but not mandatory
